Wheel Alignment Technician

Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Wheel Alignment Technician to join our team. As a Wheel Alignment Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and correcting wheel alignment issues in various vehicles. Your expertise in using the John Bean Alignment machine will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Perform wheel alignment and balancing services on a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and SUVs.
• Inspect vehicles for alignment issues, such as uneven tire wear, steering problems, or vehicle pulling to one side.
• Use diagnostic equipment, including the John Bean Alignment machine, to accurately measure and correct wheel alignment.
• Adjust suspension components, including camber, caster, and toe angles, to meet vehicle specifications.
• Perform necessary repairs or recommend additional services if required.
• Keep detailed records of services performed, including measurements, adjustments, and parts used.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends, techniques, and technologies related to wheel alignment.

Skills

Requirements:

• At least 7 years of experience as a Wheel Alignment Technician in a professional automotive workshop.
• In-depth knowledge and expertise in using the John Bean Alignment machine.
• Strong understanding of wheel alignment principles and techniques.
• Familiarity with various vehicle makes and models.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve alignment issues effectively.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
