• Work with the Executive Chef to develop and execute a diverse menu of Western dishes
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of all menu items
• Oversee kitchen operations, including stock management, quality assurance, and food safety
• Train and supervise junior kitchen staff, ensuring optimal performance
• Maintain kitchen organization, cleanliness, and exceptional standards of hygiene
• Assist in budget creation and management, monitoring costs to ensure profitability
• Contribute to the culture of teamwork and high-performance in the kitchen Requirements
• At least 2 years’ experience as a Sous Chef with a focus on Western cuisine and experience of working in an independent restaurant
• Comprehensive understanding of Western cooking techniques and trends
• Restaurant experience as a Sous Chef
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment • Excellent organizational and time management skills
